Freedom of Movement with Fire Fan Tech - Sunday 5pm The Cove

Let's combine the flowy dance style of fire fans with the sharp look of tech performance! There are many ways to manipulate our fans- we can spin them like poi by doing finger spins, pretend our fans are swinging clubs or double staves by creating a fury of hybrid combinations, or we can just wiggle our bodies and look sexy. There are a variety of concepts and moves that we will focus on which will help further your understanding of not only fire fans, but of any object manipulation prop. We will learn in-spin vs anti-spin, isolations, full arm extensions, folding, sliding, angular moves while combining all these movements to give you more freedom of movement in your fan performance. Prepare to take it to the next level!
